　　• Berth

　　Yantai Port has now 6 general berths for grain handling, with total wharf line of 1,130 meters and maximum draught of 14 meters, where vessels ranging from 60,000 to 100,000 DWT can be handled.

　　Yantai Port has 9 grain warehouses with total area of 54,620 square meters and stockyard of 200, 000 square meters, where 600,000 tons of grain can be stored at one time.

　　•  The multi-purpose portable bagging machine designed and produced by Yantai Port has won several excellent product prizes of provincial and ministerial level, and is now mainly used for bagging of imported soy bean, barley, mung bean, wheat and bulk fish powder. The Port now has 13 sets of equipments with daily bagging capacity of 20,000 tons.

　　【Liquid Chemicals】

　　•  In 1990, Yantai Port built 2 groups of liquid chemical storage tanks respectively, for which special railway loading platforms were equipped. Storage capacity is close to 30,000 cubic meters. In addition, special edible oil pipelines, capable of transporting 300 tons per hour, are built to deliver the oil directly to owners' storage tanks.
