　　As a unit in charge of communication management, security and service under Yantai Port Group Co., Ltd, Communication Center has 149 employees on payroll, 73 of which has junior college education or above, and owns various communication facilities and assets worth more than RMB 29 million.

　　The center is mainly responsible for organizational management and service of the informational construction of Yantai Port, and the development, operation and maintenance of information and communication system as detailed below:

--Construction of computer information system,

--Telecommunication,

-- Public trunking dispatch service,

--Port VHF telephone,

--Telecommunication engineering and technological service and

--Sales of professional communication products.

Aiming at improving production management efficiency, market competitiveness and economic benefit of the port, the Center organizes, manages and promotes the construction of computer information system and communication service security system in the port, and also provides efficient information communication service for port production, operation, management and policy making.

　　Over years of perfecting its internal management and improving service quality constantly, the Center has consecutively won several honors of Advanced Collectivity by Communication Center of Ministry of Communications, Shandong Provincial Communication Administration and Yantai Port and has been awarded Exemplar Unit for Keeping Promise to the Customers by Yantai Municipal Consumers ' Association.

　　The center has Grade 3 qualification of communication and qualification in intelligentized building construction and electronic installation and construction. In addition to the top priority to guarantee Yantai Port of unobstructed information flow and communications, the Center also offers customers outside the port professional and comprehensive information and communication services as follows:
